OUR STRATEGY
VISION –The POWER of COMMUNITY is harnessed to drive economic prosperity for businesses, residents and community organizations that contribute to the highest quality of life in Innisfail.
MISSION – Incubate the capacity of a community economic development program within the
municipality and transition the program into a community governed organization.
STRATEGY – Deeply engage the community in boldly leading the development of local markets for goods, services, labour, renewable and non-renewable energy sources and property.
“The success of a community is built on the power of place, defined by the synergies of the community, economy, and capacity. This synergy is able to produce results greater than the sum of the individual parts. Leadership requires an open mind, the willingness to collaborate, the ability to build relationships, and having respect for others.” Innisfail Mayor Jean Barclay
In recognition of Community Economic Development, Town of Innisfail Mayor Jean Barclay prepared this special message in 2022 regarding the importance of building a well-rounded community to foster investment attraction and business growth.
